« Chinese-Style Pork Tenderloin »
A tasty, minimum effort dish suitable for entertaining
Serves: 4
Preparation Time:
5 minutes, plus 1 hour to marinate
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 tsp Very Lazy Garlic
- 2 tsp Very Lazy Ginger
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- juice of 1 large orange
- 450g pork tenderloin fillet
- Fragrant Thai rice, to serve
Method:
- Mix together the Very Lazy garlic, Very Lazy ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil and orange juice together in a shallow bowl. Sit the pork tenderloin in the marinade, ensuring it is completely covered. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for 1 hour minimum, or overnight if time allows.
- Pre heat the over to 190c/170c fan/gas 5. Heat an ovenproof frying pan. Remove the port from the marinade and sear for 3-5 minutes until browned all over.
- Pour over the remaining marinade, transfer the pan to the oven and continue to cook for 20-25 mnutes until the pork is cooked through. Remove from the oven, cover and leave to rest then slice thickly.
- Meanwhile, cook the rice according to the pack instructions, drain and serve with the sliced pork, with the pan juices poured over. Good served with pak choi or sugar snap peas as a Quite Lazy dinner.
