Cooking Steps

  • 1

To make the marinade, add all ingredients together in a large bowl (except pork) and mix thoroughly.  Add the diced pork to the marinade, coating it fully. Cook immediately or marinate for 10–20 minutes for extra tenderness.

  • 2

To cook the pork, we recommend pan frying for the best colour. Heat a large pan or wok over medium-high. Add a splash of oil and cook diced pork in two batches so they sear, not steam. Fry each batch for 6–8 minutes, stirring often, until golden. Add leftover marinade in the last minute to glaze. As an alternative, add pork to the air fryer at 190°C for 10–12 mins, shaking halfway.

Serve with flatbreads, tzatziki & mint as an optional extra, and extra garlic yoghurt (yoghurt + 1 tsp Very Lazy Chopped Garlic)
