Add oil to a wok or deep frying pan and fry the onion, garlic, chillies, ginger and carrots for a few minutes until the carrots start to soften and you’re wafting up some tip-top scents!

Add the chicken breast and continue to cook on high until the chicken begins to brown.

Add the soy sauce, rice vinegar (or lime juice), sugar, black pepper and Chinese five spice and stir well. Continue to cook the chicken on high whilst you get the noodles ready.

Cook the noodles according to the packet instructions. Drain and set aside.

Add the cabbage and turn down to a simmer. Cook for another 3-5 minutes.

Stir through the noodles and serve!
