Cook the noodles according to the package directions and drain well.

In a pan, heat up the butter over medium heat. Stir in the chopped garlic, brown sugar and soy sauce.

Add the drained noodles to the sauce, sprinkle in the red pepper flakes and toss to combine well.

Push the noodles to one side of the pan, turn the heat up and add the lightly beaten egg to the empty half of the pan. Scramble until set.

Enjoy hot topped with sliced spring onion and sesame seeds.
