Tangy Teriyaki Ribs

Serves 4 15 mins Prep 1 hour 35 mins Cooking

Cooking Steps

  • 1

Pop your ribs in a large oven dish. Mix your Very Lazy Teriyaki Paste, orange juice, 1 tbsp sugar and seasoning in a small bowl and then slather all over your ribs before popping in the fridge for an hour to marinate (or overnight if you can wait that long).

  • 2

Pre-heat your oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Transfer your ribs to a baking tray lined with foil and drizzle over any leftover marinade before covering with foil and popping in the oven for 1 hour. After 1 hour of your ribs cooking, remove the foil from your ribs and cook for a further 35 mins.

  • 3

Whilst your ribs cook, its time to crack on with your loaded wedges! Bring a deep pan of water to the boil, before adding a pinch of salt and cooking your wedges for 5 mins. Drain and pop to one side.

  • 4

When your ribs have around 30 mins left, heat 4 tbsp oil in a shallow baking tray in the oven for 5 mins until very hot. Add your drained wedges, ensuring to cover all over in oil and fan out into a single layer. Bang in the oven and cook for 15 mins (turn half way through so they evenly cook).

  • 5

While your wedges cook, mix together your black pepper, onion, Very Lazy garlic, peppers and Very Lazy chilli, pour over your wedges and bake for a further 5 -10 mins until your wedges are golden.

  • 6

Put your cutlery away, it's time to get messy! Serve your ribs family sharing style on a board with your pan of salt & pepper wedges and get sharing!
